iFilm English TV to air finale for ‘Awakening’

iFilm English TV Channel has set to air the final episode of ‘Awakening’ on Monday.

The final episode of the series, directed by Bahram Azimpour and produced by Hossein Aqaharandi as well as Ali Pourkiani, will be aired on October 10, 2022, at 18:00 GMT.

‘Awakening’ depicts the difficulties that flourish from a young love.

In the series, Sina is a rich boy who against his family’s will goes to northern Iran in order to propose to Torang.

She is in love too and her uncle marries them in an informal little ceremony.

Torang goes to Tehran with her husband and begins her life with him, but there is a secret in her new family.

Yet, her life gets worse when her husband dies and she is left with no legal proof that she’s married and expecting a baby.

Notable on the series cast are Behnaz Jafari, Atila Pesyani, Mahtaj Nojoumi, Amir-Reza Delavari, Houman Barqnavard, the late Parviz Pour-Hosseini, Fariba Kamran, Elham Pavehnejad, and the late Davoud Rashidi.

‘Awakening’, produced in 2007, will be replaced by ‘Mehrabad’ made by Seyyed-Farid Sajjadi-Hosseini.
